Sharing files is a must for winmx to work for all. I share lots of files and notice I get many people coming back for more of my files. What annoys me is some who d/l from me have files I want but dont share them. I get on their Q but after 5 or 10 min i notice they dc me. After sharing many files to these leeches I have had enough of their ways. I have leech hammer and monitor but they avoid being dc by these programs because they have files. Just ignoring them is not enough to stop them. I want to find away of permanently ignoring them. Is there away to do this ?

Just do exactly that - ignore them.

People in your ignored list can't queue with you.
I't just annoying if they keep changing their names...

Tell them about it.... quite a few leeches I ave talked to don't know how to share. So you might want to try that out. Mx moniter is going to ignore them anyway, if they do not share..... So that's not a prob... Plus How many times are they going to keep changing their name before they get tired... such leechers usually have very little patience.

hey! i've got tons of files to share but no one can download from me.
i have spent months changing my ports/asking winmx folks how to fix my computer,getting tons
to advice, trying to do everything i can so that others can
download from me but to no avail.
i am still trying to get this stupid thing to work,,,so one thing to all of you who
talk about people who don't share...these people may be like me and haven't firgured out
the right way to get their computer to send donwloads.
( i usually apologize to folks via the send message,,,and when they do have a request
of my files i go and ftp them everything i have that they want)
Please understand that some of us still can't fix our computer and i would appreciate any other
suggestions anyone would have.
