Windows Live messenger wont work?

Ever since i did windows updates yesturday, then restarted, i haven't been able to sign in with windows live messenger. Windows messenger signs in fine, and windows live messenger signs in fine with my account on my other computer, and i have done spyware scans, virus scans, sfc/scannow, repaired windows live messeger, remove and reinstalled windows live messenger, everything. I just dont know. :'(

aparrently mine went off but did sign in, however 1 of my admins signed in in hers, but her daughter on same oc couldnt. she got a new account and it went on easy, other people are having problems too, ranging from cant add contacts to cant see ppl online and cant sign in or when they do it shows signed in with connection error,
try the old msc messenger 7.5 or even windows messenger 4.7 or 5.0 (the little old basic 1 with no smileys)
