...that I can do to help out the WinMX community? Other than leave the program running I mean!

I don't do much Dloading anymore as I pretty much have the files that I want for the time being, but I do leave WinMX up and I share everything that I can. I do use MXMonitor and I think it's set up right... I just don't know if I can do much else here.

I don't have any applicable skills (or the time to volunteer them) so whatcha think? Just sit back and watch the uploads?

I am a primary user on cable, btw...

Hi Itsbry,

If your running the WinMX Group patch on that primary then really your doing all you can to help.. your always welcome to come hang out in the help room we run if you do have some moments to spare helping other users that way.. but frankly I understand if your short on time and cant... Just do what you can to help spread the word its back and what patch to use in other places you visit around the Internet..

Its the connection patch recommended by this site and its location is here:

www.winmxgroup.com

For WinMX 3.54 users the download on the Home page works, and for 3.53 or 3.31 users click the Downloads link at the top left of the page and choose the one called Various WinMX Versions + Patch..

If your update bar on WinMX below your Version information says Patch Operational then you are already using it..
if its blank or says Please Be Patient then you may want to go ahead and reinstall from the above mentioned pages..
