Bendmx sounds not working in Winmx

Any idea how to get the sounds working for Bendmx? I'm using Winmx 3.53 on XP. So bendmx seems to be working great. Except the sounds do not play as they use to. Any ideas on how to resolve the problem? Any suggestions and comments are appreciated!

Have you tried the "repair hooks" function in the bendmx settings ?

Hi Ghostship. I have looked for the repair hooks in bendmx settings it's not there. Where else could I find it possibly? Thanks

Correction. I did find the repair hooks. I did it. It reloaded everything. But still no sound when I tried the commands....right click mxsound choose a phrase. Didn't work. I tried reinstalling it. doesn't work still. Tried a different version. Didn't work. Thanks for any suggestions or comments.

What dlls are contained in the folder ?

I think the olepro is the one that does the sound but perhaps you have a third party one in their when its not supposed to be ?

bendmx sounds dont work in 3.53... last fully functional 'bendmx' experience complete with sound is with winmx version 3.31

Ok well that explains that! thank you very much! I hope you guys don't mind me posting and asking questions. I'm trying to Host and have everything I need in it. I want to learn as much as I can and you guys have helped me so much already! Thank you!

out of curiousity does typing /bot  (bot mode enabled) and then attempt the sound, make any difference? i know its been said its broken in 3.5* versions, just wondering if bot mode makes a diff, or even try the sounds in action text like /me peng

I just tested it out. No still doesn't work. I tried the bot. also tried in action/me sounds do not work. Thanks.
