Cannot download Video

Hi, i have been downloading mp3s successfully for a while but have had no success downloading video.  Every single one goes from 'Waiting for network reply' to red or from 'queued locally' to red.  Where am i going wrong ?

you may have to increase your AEQ settings for downloading movies, being large often popular files, queues tend to be longer (partly because they move so much slower for large files).  I suggest boosting it to the maximum (100) if you want vids, & be prepared for long waits before downloads start.

Hi Reddannio,

Downloading Video files can require you to have a few minor changes to your set up to allow them to que and wait your turn correctly.

This first thing that comes to mind when i read your post is the 'Queued Locally' i see.. this means that your attempting to download or get into que for more files then you yourself have allowed, easy to fix by going to the Settings and raising the number of Max Downloads.  This will allow your MX to que or download a larger number of files at one time.. keep in mind that the more you are downloading the slower your speeds can be.. or it can cause MX to freeze up.. so be reasonable here.

Thanx guys, i will try your suggestions.  I did click on more than the 6 downloads i have available but as they were e all going red anyway, which i presume means they wont download, i thought i would be giving myself more chance of finding one that would successfully download.

One other thought here is to make sure you using the right patch.. the one from www.winmxgroup.com   this one will filter fakes out for you (they all turn red) so if you continue to have this issue and frankly for many other reasons and issues I suggest to anyone to use the above mentioned patch..

After you have installed the patch, delete all incompletes in your incoming folder which are less than 100kb in size. Search for the videos and try to downlaod them again. Be warned though, in many cases, you have to wait for a good amount of time before the downlaods start.
Although if they turn blue, it indicates that all is well :)
