bandwidth priority

I am running 3.54 with slow uploads. When I click on a file that is being uploaded and then try to increase the upload priority I find that the tab itsself is "Ghosted" and there is no option for me to change it. Is there a way to correct this? What have I done wrong?

To make use of the upload priority function you need to have bandwith throttle enabled you can do this by going to settings in winmx settings/file transfers/bandwidth throttle ......set a limit on  outgoing bandwidth ,this will/should make the upload priotity tab useable

also set the limit below what is your maximum upload capacity. Or else, still there will be no effect
Note that if the other person cannot downlaod any faster, then your increasing his upload priority will have no effect.
