the redirect was simply changing one of the forum sections to contain the redirect to there, the fix is quite simple rename the section back again... of course the big problem is the fact that they got access to change the title in the first place, which i'd bet is due to an outdated phpbb, and without fixing that it could happen again (i hope that's been done already...)
phpbb is so insecure that they even removed the version numbers from sites to try and get at least some security by hiding the fact you're using an old outdated version - when they did that it was basically confirming that they don't expect it to be secure
that was the main reason this site was moved to SMF a while back, because trying to keep phpbb up to date with security fixes is hassle on a clean board, but if you start using mods to add basic features (like for example a mod to add the ability to update the forum - quite a major thing that is not in it as standard) then it becomes almost impossible to keep updated and fix security problems
when winmxworld was on phpbb i deliberately kept the modifications to a bare minimum to make updating as hassle free as possible, but even so some modifications were needed to make it usable, and they did mean no automatic update mods would be able to work and any updates had to be done by hand... which is why at the time we finally switched to SMF we were about 3 or 4 versions behind on phpbb, due to not having several hours a week to waste applying updates
i would expect that cricketmx is/was probably just as far behind on updates, if not more so - because it is very hard for anyone to keep a phpbb forum up to date, mainly because any form of mod breaks updates, and you can't hope to use phpbb without mods (as it doesn't even have basic functionality)
