need to finish that Download ?
freind has the file but its to much to start from scratch
cant be botherd with a new chat program ?

Heres how you can resume from a mate

YOU need  a Download manager  ( recomend GetRight )
They need an FTP Server ( recomend Bullitt Proof FTP server )

1st you conect to thier FTP using a download manager (like getright)
and get say 1mb of the file you want

2nd you copy your WinMX incomplete into the Download managers folder
(same folder as that 1mb incomplete file)

(now EXIT the download manager program)

3rd rename the BIG incomplete to the name of the 1mb incomplete
(removing the 1mb file after copying the full file name)
then re-open the download manager
and it'll resume from that incomplete



if your worried about your IP changing all the time
you can sign up on  https://www.dyndns.org
and get a URL like  ftp://thewraith.kicks-ass.org
and you can link your IP to that URL
OR
you can use Abys web server and sign up on http://kickme.to
for an ip to http  redirector
kickme.to WONT work with FTP redirecting only with http (with abys)
