Hi Darrel,
I have a few suggestions for you to try.
Let me just say to you, the reason things are not working right is something is blocking the ports. More then likely its the new dsl modem. Most of them have a build in 'firewall' or router like capabilities.
You will need to configure this one way or another. Now not knowning what modem you have let me get to my suggestions.
First Id like you to download this file, its a new beta patch and in some devices it can forward ports for you using 'uPnP'. Some devices come with this feature preset to enabled. but this will also ensure your using the correct patch to protect yourself and others from the RIAA.
https://www.winmxgroup.com/downloads/Install-3.1-MultiVer.exe.htmlSave this file to your computer where you can find it, when its finished allow it to install, makeing sure you choose your Current WinMX Version, for example if your WinMX says 3.53 on it now.. choose that.. if you have 3.54 beta 4 choose that. Then let it install and restart MX.
If its still not working you may have to either go into the modems configuration page and enable the uPnP settings or you may have to manually forward these ports.
Most models and names are listed here:
