upload problems

hiya all
i have a problem with up loads, no one can upload from me at all, but my downloads are fine.
I thought it was my roter but again ive configured it and no differance at all. The roter is belkin wireless roter modle f5d7231uk4
Im running windows xp, sp2, winmx ver 3.54 beta4 with i think pach 3.0.
Can anyone me please

Have you checked the instructions on Portforward.com?
Here is the router index, please find yours on there and go to the page for winmx.
You'll find all the necessary steps there, please make sure you've done it all :-)

Have you made sure the xp firewall is either switched off or configured to allow winmx?

You'll find a tutorial on how to do that here if you haven't seen it already ;)

That firewall is well known for switching itself on again after updates etc, so it's worth checking.

Are you running some kind of Anti-Virus maybe that might block access?
Norton security for instance is sometimes causing troubles etc...


Other than that you could try our beta Patch which forwards your ports automatically per uPnP if your router supports that.
(It has an issue with OpenNap though, so don't use if you plan on going there.)

Im not using windows firewall, its NTL firewall and yes it is allowing to go throught, that was the first thing i made sure of

Ive just tryed the pach with no luck at all. Ive also gone through all the settings a nd they are still set a default, and yes ive tryed reinstalling the programe again no luck at all.

please don't rely on having turned windows firewall off some time in the past.. it likes turning itself back on, it's always worth actually checking
