It seems folks that the over zealous word filters are now in place on the Morpheus network and users are leaving in droves after paying up to $2o dollars to get the latest "update", surely a false advertising claim in there if ever there was one

You will get redirected to Amazon or the file will turn pink or red if you don't have permission to download it.
Looking at the licence agreement for the new version it now says:
This version of Morpheus™ includes automatic updating functionality. You understand and agree that new versions or components of Morpheus may in the future be installed automatically without any further or additional action at all on your part.
From what i have read in the chatroom, this is only temporary and in the future versions you may be charged a small fee: $0.01 for an MP3 and $0.25-$0.50 for a movie (Depending on the size, quality etc)
It sounds like the end is near for Morpheus, most of its users are likely to leave the network now it has been "aquired" by the Cartel, perhaps thats a good thing as it was only likely to be used for scamming users into making purchases of what are "fast buck" releases from the recording industry.
I hope to see some of those folks come here and add to the pool of genuine user content and art that winmx has plenty of
