For those not familiar with it, this is a useful download management tool that will allow you to take care of some of the more annoying folks on WinMx , yes those who share nothing  :shock:

LeecHammer works with WinMX versions 3.3 or later and is compatible with Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP.

I can't get Leechammer to connect to this patched version of Winmx, does it no longer work, web sites I tried to access are gone, any advice or just forget about trying to use it?

LeecHammer and the MXMontor hook into your WinMX not the WPN, so if its not working you might check that the settings are correct to start monitoring when WinMX is started..

correct - the smartgamez.org site no longer offers anything except an image of a cyclops.
"Not Found
The requested URL /LeecHammer.zip was not found on this server."

Hopefully the Winmxworld staff will note this on their help links which still point to smartgamez.org.

For those hosting legacy copies, it would be good to rename the zip file ro indicate which version is included, whether v1.1 or v 1.2.  I am seeing both versions under the same filename.

i have leecHammer on my pc and even when MX is running it says winmx not running and the " MX " activate button thats ment to launch winmx is dark shaded grey and doesnt do anything why is this oh and the links to get leechammer full and upgrade give a 404 not available error

Hi Danielle I,ll look into the links problem and see whats up there.

 I think the error your seeing on the program is listed in another thread , I,ll look for it after checking the archive 


....Back,,,   Ok I think your using the links to external sites and thats the reason for those 404 errors, grab what you need here

I think the error you noticed is if the winmx version does not match the correct leechhammer version, hope that helps

Just downloaded LeecHammer 1.1, running WinMX 3.5. Execute WinMX via LeecHammer and WinMX starts ok but another session of WinMX starts up and immediately dies and then another WinMX sessions starts this repeats over and ovewr until I exit the LeecHammer session. WinMX runs fine by itself, Whats Up, Thanks

Aside from trying Bearded's suggestion in the other  thread I would suggest you try this version of Leechammer too instead

1.2version may be better for you

Better still if Leechammer is still playing up switch to mxmon like I did Just a thought.
