Hi all,
I got a new computer with Vista Premium installed. I downloaded the latest version of WinMX with patch. It kept un-connecting; after a few days I deleted it.
When I had time I checked here and found out that the compatibility problems were fixable, so I downloaded the .exe file again. However, now when I try to run it, Vista tells me the file is corrupted and won't let it open (overriding does no good, it still won't open). No matter which version I download from the winmxgroup page I get the same results. I am assuming that when I uninstalled WinMX in frustration (using WinMX's own uninstall link in its folder), something stayed on my computer that is now keeping WinMX from re-installing. So now that I can fix WinMX once it's downloaded, I can't get it downloaded! Any ideas?
Thanks,
