With your current energy in making things for winmx which i am very glad that you are doing, is their by any chance you could make a upload manager. mxmonitor and leechhammer are so outdated now and dont seem to do properly what anyone wants. if you interested maybe peeps could post about what features they would like, I know better logging is a topic i just read. Up to you mate anyway, i been trying to catch you since you asked for a new project in the help room but im abit busy at the mo, take it bud anyway and good luck if ya do.

wow what a brilliant idea,
monitor scans as people join your que
leechammer doesnt

leechammer spots the 0 of 0 available hack
monitor doesnt

so the best bit is scan on joining que & spotting 0 of 0 hack

Else, if it might be a bit too complicated, mabye just a program that will spot the 0 of 0 and add them to the ignore list.
Mxmoniter is great and does eveything except the 0 of 0 hack.

Cheers :P

Annoying to who? the leechers? who cares? lol.
I've wanted that feature myself, an auto PMer telling the users why they get kicked off. We need an upload manager that can kick off users based on slots, not only 0of0. I hate those broadband users who only leave 1 upload slot open. What happens is that the one slot gets a dialup user or a throttled user connected, taking up that one available slot, leaving an endless queue behind. This is why users started giving up on MX a long time ago.. too much queuing, and I don't think that's only the leechers' fault, it's also the broadband users with 1 slot who don't think they are doing anything wrong.

I do from time to other use 0 of 0 when I am going to play games or need the extra 2k/s, and I don't want to leave the chatrooms, and I know some hosts run it when they host a chatroom because of the performance of the room is better without the throttles enabled, so I know that 0 of 0 has some legitimate uses, but I know most of the users abuse it.

or you could stop spreading fake search results and just unshare...

there is absolutely no reason to use something like that - if you want to share files then share them, if you don't want to then remove them from the library and stop flooding out fake search results claiming to be sharing something you're not

Surely a case of pot kettle and black NB, by offering to share files that you wont let folks upload your the leech in the eyes of many.

Unsharing is the correct thing to do if you cant spare bandwidth for sharing files, asking others to share when you dont is not polite.
