file errors
« on: February 23, 2007, 09:24:53 pm »
Hi, I am using winMX v3.54b in Win XP SP2 (English).
I am searching for a Japanese MP3, I can see there are some of the files I want, but the problem is that when I tried to
download them, I see there is a long error listed under the Status colum like this:
File Error>(3) "E:?temp?_Imcomplete_(?ayumi_hamasaki)...
Maybe the directory can't be recognized by winMX.

Could you help me solve the problem, please?

I think the problem can be resolve only by choosing manually download, but then it would quite annoying if there are tens of files you wanna download, you have to do the same thing many times.

Is there a best way to this problem?

Hi Kwfine,

Im having troubles keeping up with your posts hun.. and so this got shuffled.. Im not sure if you have already resolved this or not as you have also posted in the File Error thread.. but here are the typical answer and fix of File Error (3)

File Error>3.The path is invalid This means That The Incoming folder for your downloads 1).File was Renamed or 2).Moved So WinMX can not Find the folder
(In WinMx, Settings->File Transfers->Incoming Files Folder->Change. It needs to know where you want it to download to.)
