WinMX With XP-Themeing
« on: April 30, 2007, 07:51:16 pm »
Hello. After looking at WinMX for a while with it's classic Windows-98 style theme, I wondered what were to happen if I was to put a MANIFEST file for XP theme support in the same directory as WinMX. This is my result:

Most of the buttons changed but some things did not.

I have an installer for the Manifest file, and also the file itself that you can put in the same directory with WinMX.exe manually.

(I had to use my FreeWebTown account because my home server can't live up to the bandwidth  :) )

Installer - (Download, Run, if your WinMX is installed in /Program Files/WinMX, just follow the steps) http://www.freewebtown.com/cooner750/winmxtheme.exe
Notice:This file has been scanned even by myself for viruses. If you are at all holding back on downloading the installer, then download the actual manifest file itself below and place it manually.

Manifest File (Place manually in the same folder with WinMX.exe) - http://www.freewebtown.com/cooner750/WinMX.exe.manifest

Just a little something I discovered  8)

It also works with custom themes in XP if you use the UxTheme.DLL patch.  8)
