i have like 15 downloads ready and they get halfway thew and turn red and i hanen't been able to find a source since its been almost 10 days.... :shock:

Hi Jmcbj4,

Make sure your WinMX is set to Auto Find Sources > 10mins Settings > Search > Default Download Parameters > AFS - remember previous or may say Auto Find Sources - 15 mins. Change this by clicking on it and choosing 10mins

Then on the Auto Enter Que or .. AEQ - Remember Previous... set this to 100. This will help insure you get in the que (in line) for the files.

Are you seeing these files red in the transfers screen? If so right click the file and set them to the above settings also. Then right click and choose 'Fine Alternatives' This should open a search window and then fine users that have an exact match to your file. Does it find any sources this way?

If not it may be that the files you seek are rare ones. Let us know what you find with the above settings changes and the search method please.

yes..they are red in the transfer screen..i click on them to find source and it goes back to red.i havent had any of my files finish downloading still.they are not rare i dont think....

the finding source blinks yellow for about 7 seconds and it quits and goes back to red

when i try to find altenatives they come up yellow(matches incomplete local file)

What patch are you using? Does your WinMX say Patch Operational on top?
What percents do you have of most of these files? More then 10% ?

How many files are you sharing also, maybe ppls MXMonitor program (a program that auto ignores folks sharing less then specified files, usually around 50 or 100) is ignoring you?

Im not sure what the issue is. I would suggest maybe that you come by the help room and let someone give you a file to test.
