When I've researched for WinMX on Ebay, I found someone who sold the link to get the patch... That's just too stupid

hes making shit loads from this.. has u seen his feedback.. hes sold it about 300 times...

id like to at least know the link which he's giving those users

I have signed up and will post as soon as the account gets activated, which should be in an hour or so.
I can't log in after I clicked on activate for some reason:(

Well, managed to get throughj
I sent three reports
one to the user lol
One to the shaing violation
and one via the "report your item being sold" one
(in which I did not directly say, "I'm the owner of either". But I think my wording will clearly imply that, 'm reporting the infringement of winmx, and clearly implying that I'm not the owner of either.)
If anyone else can, then do so, for I think more is the response, faster will be the action.

The link on ebay has been removed now.  I sent a email as well. iI hope its stays foo now that they know whats going on. Really sad that someone would do this but even more sad people would bid before a fast google to see that its free info easy to get.

Hmmm I wished you had saved the guys e-bay handle/name.
That way I could do a Who is query.
Because the last time I checked it was still considered on-line fraud to try to see a public domain.
Which is exactly what WinMX is at this point.
Because it is us the users that keep it up and running.
Not some company or privately owned firm.
Unless a lot has changed from the last time i was here.

as for the name, i cant even find it in my sent-messages folder..

i know i defo sent him a message, my intention was for it to show at bottom of screen and all could see with the link in there also...

Then i found the "report this item" at the bottom and followed it though  lol..

o well... lol.. sucessfull at once, but its not alerting people winmx is free.. just stopping one more person selling winmx.

i have e-mailed e-bay and reported this asshole & e-mailed as many of the buyers as possible telling them they have been scammed and to report him also & given them the proper link for winmx from this site
