Every time I try to connect to the open nap servers I keep getting a connection closed message and after 45 seconds I get booted off the secondary network as well. I am using the latest patch.

Addendum to post....updated patch seems to have resolved problem

It worked for a few minutes then my open nap servers went offline.
I'm not sure if that was because it was still scanning my shared folders

Addendum to posts: it looks like the scan of my shared folder caused the problem. Just posting these in case other users experience similar issues

there was some sort of cache/patch blocklist issue that was causing connections to be broken including connections to nap servers, rooms and transfers. as you probably know by now, this has been cleared up by this terrific group... if it continues, uninstall and reinstall your winmxworld patch to clear the bad data that was sent, which was the root of the problem.
