A quick note if you're reinstalling to try to resolve a problem (applies to anyone)
the following approach is recommended:
go to add/remove programs & remove any patches listed there
remove also peerguardian2 or pg lite (they do no good on any network & cause connection issues on winmx)
look for your winmx program folder ( c:\program files\winmx by default ) & DELETE it
download winmx ONLY from the official patch site
www.winmxgroup.comrun the installer you downloaded from there .. it includes both patch & all the ip blocking you need
