Vista ( it's becoming a swear word ) connection probs

I am one of the foolish people who bought vista thinking it was the way forward.
Now i can connect to winmx but i cant get PM's in chat rooms - my name changes every two mins (loses one letter and regains it shortly after)
does anyone know of a prog i can use that actually works with vista  ? like Mx central or Robo or stuff like that ?

People who are having vista problems have been advised to use a patch details are on winmx world home page have you tried the patch yet it might help you

the patch for vista can be found by either:
1. going to the winmxgroup site and clicking the large red text saying vista users check here
2. going to the winmxworld home page and looking under the large heading for users who upgraded to vista
or
3. when looking on this forum going to the section of the forum marked vista issues
