Does Microsoft Vista monitor if one is using winmx with regard to Digital Managing?

Btw, had windows xp and winmx worked great for a year or better with patch and then the last few weeks, it had been timing out, and extremely slow connection to the point I had to give up.

Now with Vista, havent reinstalled winmx because im not sure of the DRM.

Any help in this area would be appreciated.

DRM is a way to mark a file to block it being played

the DRM in vista basically just blocks you from being able to play DRM content properly (for example any HD DVD will play back at reduced quality) - anything you download without DRM plays unrestricted

you'd almost think that having it downgrade the quality of purchased disks would encourage people to download high quality copies for free instead of paying for low quality...
