Make sure winmx is allowed in the firewall & specifically open the ports in it (TCP 6699 UDP 6257) then open settings in winmx & hit the setup wizard button, choose to discard old settings & it will then retest, with luck this should get you connected at least.

No problems, I am running Windows Vista Ultimate on a Dial-Up Connection and had no problems after the patch. I upgraded from Windows XP Home to Windows Vista Home Prem., and the upgraded it to Ultimate. On the following specs:
Intel Celeron M (1.6GHz)
1.5Gb of RAM
128MB Intel GM950 w/AERO
80GB HD (2 partitions, one 5GB and 1 70GB)

I run Vista, MX works fine for me, had issues with the router and firewall settings but other than that, MX works great.

Well, I've got this working fine on Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Connected about an hour with no issues.
