RoboMx 2.06
« on: June 24, 2010, 12:58:02 am »
Hi.Can someone help me out please.
I am using RoboMx2.06,I have been for a very long time.
As of today it closes by itself when i click on it via the taskbar.
It connects to rooms..the scripts work fine...but when you go to minimize it..poof it closes.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Thank you for the help.

Hi Ripper, have you added any new scripts or edited any that coincide with the time this problem
started occurring? If so you might want to try disabling any new/edited scripts to see if it resolves the crashing.

Hiya reef.I did not add any scripts or edit anything.
The only thing I did was reboot.

Bit of a mystery then for sure.
If you bring up task manager, while the bot is idle (no games being played) is the bot using a large amount of CPU or memory?
Maybe save your plugins folder to desktop and do a fresh install of Robo then add back your plugins

other than that maybe another reboot will correct it   lol

Hiya,
Dr,Watson is a windows debug application,
to be honest, it either will slow you down to a crawl, stopping you from opening any folders, or it closes an aplication it doesnt know, mainly because anything that doesnt have a microsoft certificate, it dont trust, so it closes that program,
you can safely close Dr.Watson in the task manager when it starts, and your pc will run better without it running,
hope this helps.

Thx for helping all.
I moved the whole folder to a different location and now it is working fine.
Somehow the folder it was in got corrupted??
The bot was not using any excess usage.
I always hated Dr Watson.
Windows Xp firewall and Norton Firewall
Again THXXXX for all the help!!

i must say, if you have a 3rd party firewall like Norton, Zone Alarm, Comodo, Avg etc,
it is best to disable the windows firewall, as conflict can occur,

about windows firewall:
people think protects them, it dont, it allows all incoming, for microsoft, windows update, any hackers,
it will block your outgoing programs like winmx, robomx, room servers etc
