Hi, I am winmx user since 1 year ago and I found winmx is a fantastic software.....
But until 2 months ago I face low upload/download speed, I used to get 40kB/s upload & download speed but now only able to get around 2-3 kB/s upload speed (drop from 12kB/s within 5 seconds) at day time and nobody want to upload to me
...... Night time has a better speed at around 15 kB/s but stil too slow compare with before. I can reach maximum speed download 100kB/s and 40 kB/s for others software like BT etc...... I have read many forums in winmxgroup and tried many methods but stil the same problem exist:
1) I am staying in Malaysia (Asia)
2) I am using Core 2 Dore 2.40 GHz Processor, 2GB DDR2 Ram, Win XP, Norton Antivirus 2005 but I have exception winmx in the firewall/blockage
3) I am using Aztech DSL Modem Model DSL600E, do I need to use Portforward? I tried but not successful, I cant proceed the last step. I have created new winxmx "Available Rules" but not able add into "Applied Rules" it shows "ERROR: Error found on page"
4) I am using latest winmx v3.54 patched, shall I use other winmx version ?
5) I have tried many TCP and UDP but the speed stil remain the same, is there any good suggestion for this TCP & UDP no? I have checked with the ISP that they dont block any P2P Port No or software
Is there any solution for me other then change ISP? It will take me to stop internet connection within 2-4 weeks if I has to change ISP for new ISP installation and registration, I will be very suffering to have no internet connection within this period.......
Winmx is part of my life and I really really wish I can continue to use this software foreverly.......
It would be greatly appreciated if somebody enlighten me what to do to release me from this problem
