I get a small window with a yellow triangle with an exclamation point within that says, "WinMX out of memory. What does this mean and how do I fix it?

it means winmx is out of memory i'd assume ;-)

however as for why... it shouldn't generally happen unless you had a really low memory computer (ie. an old one, anything made within the last 5 years has plenty) and were running something like mxmonitor - is that the case?

Yes it is. Alot of people were and still are having connection issues.

To get your winmx connected again, please click the link provided below:

https://www.winmxworld.com/files/autochanger.zip

Once downloaded, double click the .exe file.

Then restart winmx and wait for it to connect, if it doesent, let us know.

Thanks.

autochanger is a basic hosts file installer, it replaces hosts file with one containing fixed addresses instead of using dns, this morning those addresses didn't point to active caches, now i don't know without checking, it was purely an emergency measure to get people connected

BB, you have someTink to do with the code running the show?

I'd love to see the code behind this.
