Hi

Just downloaded version 3.54 beta 4 as directed from new version at 12th July and still will not connect either primary or secondary. Any ideas.

was you running winmx before & if so what patch etc did you have?
what setup do you have on your pc  e.g. operating system/ security/connection etc also have you tried rebooting since the install as some systems require this
the more info you provide the quicker someone will be able to help you

I had winmx multiversion + patch before & it worked fine. OS is Windows XP/SP2, Internet security & AV is Panda.ISP is Tiscali.

was you using tiscali before & how long back was it you was using winmx ?
tiscali are well known for packet blocking and throttling of winmx a friend of mine changed to them & no matter what they cant connect to winmx now even though a while back they could (basicly they are a pain in the ass)
also have you re-allowed winmx in your security as a new install often requires this (try starting winmx with it turned off to check if this is so also make sure you are not running the xp firewall as well as this will cause probs)
did you also do a complete fresh install e.g delete the c/drive >> programme files >>winmx folder ?

Was using Tiscali before & i know they are a pain in the ass but i could get on during the day & now i can't. Did clean install & yes winmx worked previous.
