I would also like to add that they are in the habit of adding IPs to their default lists that are in the category of 'they pissed us off'.. now lets be clear. Phoenix labs makes Peerguardian and unfortunately for everyone that users it they stopped making their own lists for this program with they stopped being Methlabs.. So in essence BlueTack are in charge of the blocklists that come with PG by default.
Recently there has been a ton of hubbabalub over all the MediaDefender information being leaked and one of the things leaked was the list of IPs of servers they use to disrupt p2p systems.. a disturbing amount of those IPs Bluetack seem to have never heard of but from time to time they have no problems adding the peer caches' IPs to their lists that you need to connect to WinMX. I my self not only find this odd, magically stupid but quite unsettling.
I think that probably if your not worried about the large amount of ordinary users you'll be cutting off from your files or cutting yourself off from theirs (Bluetack have nearly 1/3 of all allocated Internet IPs on the lists), and you can live with the fact that the majority of their p2p protection list is made up of those 'IPs of ppl that have pissed us off' and not all the Cartels ips as they should be, and the fact that it wont save you from getting a letter while using BitTorrent clients (because i know ppl that have while using it, more then one to be honest), and for the moment the caches and this site and other winmx sites they had a grudge against for having the gall to make suggestions about IPs they were stealing from my blocklist that were dynamic and being allocated to real users after a few weeks, aren't on those lists.. then sure its fine to use with MX... lol
