WinMX Ws2-32.dll patch problems

I'm a user of WinMX. I'm experiencing frequent shutdowns using the WS2_32.dll patch. Windows XP Pro says the problem is in the .dll file. I have Task Manager running and I see CPU usage spike to 100% and hold just before a crash. I also get two WinMx icons in my task tray at the bottom of my screen.

Also, my connection was suddenly downgraded to a secondary connection mid session once.

Do a virus scan.. we have an excellant section in the tutorials on this..

This behavior is not the patch.. trust me you have something wrong.

WinMX is not capable of changing to secondary mid session and shouldnt be using so much cpu...
