you could try restarting winmx, or reconnecting, there is little else that can be done, but either of those usually fixes it

can you give me the name of the server?

It is possible that the hostname is invalid, or that the server is offline
Go to this thread and get a list of working servers. see if your server is among those I have posted there and then try and see if those servers work or not

Hi 36ff :)
Can't connect to OpenNap?
open settings then grab 'OpenNap Networks ' from the left. make sure your username there contains no fancy characters or spaces. plain numbers or letters only. setting a static password is a good idea too. then hit the "reset all net params to default" button. then grab This file and  either import it or drag and drop it to your winmx shortcut icon and try to connect....   hope this helps..  otherwise, let us know what errormessage you get from the servers when you try to connect. (click on the plus sign on the left for more server details)

if the WinMX peer network isn't connecting, Here is where you want to go to resolve that.

cheers!
