Do I need to play with the "Bandwidth Throttle" if I'm not on a Primary Connection. (Can I leave both my "Limit incoming/outgoing bandwidth" unticked ? ) (Your Bandwidth Throttle Tutorial suggested I set upload to 6000). I've been reading loads of the comments on this forum regarding bandwidth but its all a bit too much for this poor brain to understand

It is up to your if you want to use the bandwidth throttle at all. I do not use it unless i am send heaps of emails or something through msn or yahoo.

I might as welll leave both boxes unticked then. (One user told me to increase the out to 30000 & incoming to 50000. !!! but then stopped me d/loading from them when my uploads were too slow for them)

Its a case of trial and error as to the settings..... the suggested setting for your pc is a good starting point..... leave your incoming unticked and work upwards from the 6000 sugested for outgoing and see what works best for yourself ...although 6000 does seem a little low...personaly i run at around 40000 this still allows me to download at reasonable speeds as well as use other apps depending on what project i am working on at the time....if i am away for any amount of time i tend to untick the outgoing thus allowing ppl who are downloading files from me to benefit from faster speeds if there pc allows them to.
