It's hard to believe that someone who has hosted for four years never heard of KM, but I guess maybe stranger things have happened in the world. What you write doesn't sound like rubbish at all. It sounds like you have the true spirit of what WinMX started out to be. It was all about making friends, sharing files, and having a lot of fun along the way. Egos and power struggles have turned WinMX into the battle zone it is today. As far as I know there are no "main peeps" who run WinMX, there are those who think they are "main peeps" and that without them WinMX would surely perish, but rest assured WinMX is a hard community to kill. Without the users the "main peeps" would just rattle around in an empty program like a BB in a boxcar. No one can bring the fun back to WinMX except you and all of the users like you, people who come to this corner of the internet with the purpose of having fun, sharing files and caring for friends. So you see, there is no one person or group of people we can ask to bring the fun back for us...each and every user has to chip in to make WinMX the great place it always was. By working together WinMX will flourish once more. KM is not one to thank, the damage he has done to the community far outweighs whatever good he has done, there are many more and far greater people that deserve thanks more than KM does, but those people remain in the background, what they do for the community is done quietly, they don't ask for or even want praise for all the hard work they have given for all of us. It is those people who deserve our thanks.
