After some time spent testing a series of new peer caches we are pleased to announce that they have passed muster and have been in use for a fortnight now without any visible problems.
As some of you may be aware we had received some complaints regarding our use of the older versions and have done our best to remove the potential of a legal threat by asking Eagle to design a peer cache for the community to use on lLnux or win32 platforms, this has successfully been undertaken by him and Micromecca has also played a very important support role in the overall design specification and deployment, seamlessly bringing the caches online and interacting with Eagle to remedy any problems and deliver on our requirements.
Thank you both
Patience is a often overlooked virtue and so we thank you all for excercising it during the last few months and holding firm in your resolve to keep things rolling and not losing faith that people are doing their best behind the scenes to ensure the long term survival of the community, this has always been the aim here and whilst things have looked slow on the surface behind the scenes there has been much activity going on for some time now, I hope to bring more good news in the future, building on the work already being undertaken.
Once again my thanks to Eagle and MicroMecca, well done guys
