This is good news folks, another of the media giants has woken up.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7277884.stmWarner Music has signed a deal with media site 7digital.com to offer its music without copy protection.
Customers in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France and Germany will be able to download albums by artists such as Madonna and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
The MP3 files can be played on nearly all music devices
This is one of the things that will help the labels turn a profit I,m sure.
Of course it does beg the question of wich executives made the decision to include DRM in the first place and should they remain in their positions within these big media companies, after all the losses racked up by acting against the consumer must run into the billions in lost sales.
