Hello everyone.
I only just discovered a few days ago that WinMX was back, so I quickly downloaded and installed 3.54 beta 4.
My issue is this: I have one track outstanding to complete an album, and tonight I've been searching and one user has the track I need (along with many other files).
But when I try to download from that user (the files all show as being available), it just turns red and says 'Disconnected'.
I have successfully downloaded from other users, so what's happening with this user?
Are they somehow blocking downloads, or just blocking me, or what?
Advice would be appreciated - and I hope this isn't a dumb question - because I can't work out what's going on.

Hi Scoopyx,

Welcome to the site ..

This can be for many reasons, you may see this message.

They may have gone off line,
they may have issues with an ISP that is throttling uploads,
they may have a upload manager set to only allow uploads from ppl with a certain amount of files and you dont have enough,
they may just be having connection issues,
If you dont have the WinMXGroup patch 3.0 this file could be a fake..

Have you tried to message them and ask them if there is a problem?
Is this the only user that has this file, finding a new source may help.
Have you thought about OpenNap if its a rare file?

Hmm, okay, thanks.
The user has now disappeared from the search window, so I guess they've just gone offline.
I could try OpenNap I guess, if I knew what it was. Off I go to find out...
