This included paying $15,000 to a hacker to illegally retrieve information about TorrentSpy that ultimately assisted the MPAA in a court case leading to TorrentSpy’s demise. New information indicates that the MPAA was also paying this same hacker for information about Swedish BitTorrent tracker The Pirate Bay.
Now come on WTF. If they know they used hackers etc to steal information, how the hell arent they being looked into for commiting this cyber crime. If i did it to them it would sure as hell be blown all over the place that i was evil. Weird world we live in where the the people of the Law can read this story too and not be checking it out.
