settings in file transfers

I had to reinstall winmx 3.53 when i click on settings  under file transfers what are the best options to use ii cant recall what boes to check n uncheck and the number of seconds in each box any help appreicated thanks.

The main important ones are the last entries on the page that have times, these need to be around 120-300 depending on how fast your connection is, generally speaking broadband users can leave them at 120 and operate fine, the rest of the settings on that page are not active unless ticked and can be set to your own preferences.
