I have DL'd the 1.9 patch and now i constantly keep getting this message from my Norton AV: "A remote system is attempting to acces WinMX.exe on your computer"  - - Is this other users trying to connect to me or not?  If so, I will allow and try to set up rules, but just wanted to be sure first.
Thanks for any help!

Yes WinMX will have remote users trying to access your winmx.exe.. I have mine set to allow all traffic to ensure that uploads and downloads work correctly..

thanks me here.  I set up rules in Norton AV but still keep getting those alerts.  Would it be wise to delete winmx and reinstall since I have added/changed so many patches and files?  Thanks again for the help.

I dont think so no, if your Norton is set like my sygate its supposed to warn you of application changes inorder to prevent application hijacking

I would simply allow the program..
