Hi
I have read everything I can find about metis and still haven’t a clue. Find the programming very hard for metis or any type of programming hard, lol. I would be very grateful if someone could write a few lines for me.
I am using Metis 2.6 and I have metis up and running ok. I got metis to do a few things and if someone writes a few lines for me I should be able to add the code, play with it and get it running
I want metis to output information in chat room from a command writing in chat room, the command can be called by any room user
For example if a user types
!ports
!winmx
Then I want metis to print out in room
For port forwarding go to portforward.com
Make sure you are using the Winmx community patch
I will have loads of command to print out when called but should be ok when i got the two above working

with all the knowledge in that file, i will be very greatful and it holds much more than i could put in one. I know its taken years to build and my self and other will benefit from it.

I use metis 2.7 test 6, which you can get from the archive under metis in the MxControl section, with the label Metis270-test6.zip. It isn't the latest version but i prefer it to the 2.8 version. Jere is the link for it

The commands given should work in anyroom that allows to run in botmode /bot (color switched off)
don't forget to start the bot /mxc run, the bot replies with Metis: Bot activated in channel

The MxControlsite is still up and running

just to update why you may not be able to find room
having server problems
type winmx into filter and you will see room
winmx share it
address keps changing
