since
the UPnP function of the community patch no longer does anything --- the vast majority of people have DHCP addresses on a home LAN with UPnP enabled by default on their router --- and the vast majority of winmx transfer problems are unopened ports... this will hopefully simplify things in the future...
for the curious; this product is free but closed source, the company that makes it -- makes its money on a screen streaming software... makes sense to give out a free port forwarding utility, esp when that utilities installer opens a page in the default browser advertising their paid product... ...no spyware ads or nastyness in the software itself .. just an ad on install...
