an invalid validation?

im not sure who manages the website.
and this is prolly something for your all mighty and secluded core section.

but the site fails both w3c's XHTML and CSS validations.

the CSS should be an easy fix
line 37 of the style sheet
"Unrecognized link element or xml-stylesheet PI. "

the xhtml has a bit more too it
its mostly a lack of end tags and xml parsing errors.
you can change the validation level without changing the code to fix the end tags issues or add the end tags. and im not sure about all the xml stuff.

but more importantly... does anyone care?

the site actually is closer to html 4.0 strict IIRC .... and ive been itching to fix the CSS bugs on this site for a long time.... noone seems to care that they are there tho....

Go be rude elsewhere Bacon, your lack of respect generates the same response from the folks here.

The site is managed by the site team and they have their reasons for acting or not acting to deal with problems,  however I,m not privy to those reaons and thus will not speak on their behalf. Their attention has been drawn to this post by the simple use of the site PM system.
