MXControl Chatroom

I figured since no one else seems to want to try and bring back the MXControl chat room on winmx, that I'd start hosting it again. If anyone needs help with Metis or any other MXControl application, you can just drop by the chatroom. Someone will do their best to help you out. It's nice to have a place where some old and new scripters can get together again and start pumping out some new material again. It's been a while since I've messed with Metis and made anything neat, but with the new updates I've gained interest again. The room is hosted on the newest WCS beta and will always be. If you're working on something that needs a bit of access, let me know and I'll hook you up. Same goes if you need help with a script. If you'd like to use custom server commands, you'll have to let me know what commands so I can add them to the room config. You may not be able to use some if I'm already using them for the room. Here's the chat room, be sure to add it to your favorites, you're welcome to lurk as well.

Ok, there has been many attempts to bring back the MXControl chatroom, and yes it would stay open for about a week or so and then close, think the reason the chatroom always closes is due to lack of users that go in there. So we'll see what happens this time. I'll be watching. Otherwise, thanks for reopening it!

Eh, not like it uses much bandwidth. So I don't even notice it running in the background on here. And love my connection. I can still run torrents and all the good stuff and it won't lag the room. So I'll be keeping the room up for a long while. I may eventually have a friend host it once I finish setting the room up. He hosts my other room, which I think I'll probably just get rid of soon here anyways. Doesn't hurt to have a new winmx help chatroom, except this one is a bit more specific. But I'm sure someone in there will try and help with any problem you're having. And as always with the old MXControl chatroom, you're more then welcome to bring in bots or anything else to work on them or do w/e.

good idea james, maybe this  time some people will start visiting more (maybe just because it's run by a different host but lets not get into that one ), however i wonder should it not be run on mx control server since it s an mx contol room? ignore this last comment just me trying to think in a straight line and i simply am no good at that hhahahaha

not sure if i ll visit there alot being always way too busy but i ll pop in one of these days for sure

MXControl is hosted on sourceforge. Couldn't drop WCS on there and host a room from there, Sourceforge limits you to enough shit as it is. I don't mind hosting, unless someone has a server sitting around collecting dust and doesn't mind hosting it. But it will be a while before I give up hosting, kinda need to be able to edit the room config at any time because of the customcommand feature. Having fun with it.

lol, i *think* he was suggesting you put yourself through the torture of hosting with RoboServ rather than suggesting dropping wcs on sourceforge's server.. but i may be mistaken

Ooooh, I see now. Yeah...no way in hell am I hosting the room on a crap server like that. Think I'll stick with the best and keep making scripts for it only.

and uuuuhm ...opinions about the crapserver  differ, though rose does still have some issues that will maybe never be corrected anymore (but  who knows?¿ there's at least one developer lately willing and able to fool around on some other stuff too and we never know what  his nexr step will be right? i m not asking him to because i know he must be very busy ..but do smile awfully friendly in his direction now    )
