Settings for WinMX on Belkin F5D7632uk4 Router
« on: October 26, 2005, 02:29:28 pm »
Hi Guys n Girls, I have 2 pc's connected through a Belking router and would like to be able to run WinMX on both machines. Can you tell me what settings I need to change on the Router and how to find out which ports I can use on the PC's. 1 is connected at the moment using the 6699 and 6257 ports but I cannot duplicate the settings for the 2nd machine.....any suggestions??

Thanks   :?

All you need do is use different ports on the second PC, simply add a 1 or 2 to the front of the ports on the second machine.

26699 & 26257 for example.

Dont forget to forward both sets in the router, for help with this try www.portforward.com

Also most of the time only one PC will support a primary connection, so connect one of them as secondary if you have troubles
