Tixati comes out with fopnu file sharing softwre

does tixati own winmx?
when winmx website was redirecting to tixati for a bit, i thought they bought winmx. they have a (new to me) file sharing software called fopnu. personally i like winmx better. answer anyone?

winmx, fopnu and tixati are all written by the same person... winmx is the first sibling of the set..

Fopnu is definitely slower than winmx fer sure....

all communication is UDP .. it really depends on who you are downloading from.. sometimes it dialup speeds.. sometimes it uses all the bandwidth you have... do some testing and find the users with a good connection...

that being said, your isp may not like fopnu so in turn you are the user with a bad connection...
..and don't forget fopnu is still being developed so stuff is very subject to change/improvement...

winmx file transfer is TCP so its like downloading something through a browser... thats where your high speeds come from..

That explains it. running fopnu and winmx side by side the udp connection is slower. But hey , they both do the trick!
