It seems like 9 out of 10 songs I try to down load It goes to waiting for net work and then turns red or turns red immedately or It will start downloading and wait till it gets all most finished and then trun red. Is there anything that can be done for this frustrating problem?

This is very aggrivating and below is a link that if you follow the directions will allow you to eliminate all fakes from your searches. This should allow you better download results.

Thanks That helped some but im still getting alot of waiting for network reply then goes to waiting for incoming connection and it stays there till it times out and goes to red. Is there anything we can do for this?

Well your settings may be set to a low time also...

Go to settings > File Transfers > Then make sure that all the times on these are set to 60, then 600, then 300 on all the rest.. esp the bottom four options..

Pending downloads time out window will only let me go to 300 and not 600.

I have Winmx version 3.53. Is there a better one?

300 is the correct setting yes..

There is another version, its WinMX 3.54 beta 4, the added features are not likely to be very different for this issue and if your on 98/ME you are probably just as well off with the 3.53 version you have.

If your on XP/2k then give the beta a try..

Just click on the Archive button at the top of this page and find the WinMX> Beta > Beta 4
Replace the winmx.exe with the new one and restart WinMX...
