Everytime I connect, before the D/L begins it gets disconnected

Not sure why, but after doing a total restore on my computer (and reinstalling Winmx) Everytime I find a song, click on it and attempt to download it, it immediately disconnects.  Even if I am in queued line up, the numbers go down, my turn comes up and it turns red and says DISCONNECTED...Any ideas?

Change the ports you are using. sounds like ISP is blocking them

I am not sure which version of winmx or patch you are using
so, can you remove your current installation, get latest installer v3.54 from here
 https://patch.winmxconex.com
run setup and let us know how that goes..

What Operating system are you using.. XP ?
Do you have any firewalls running ?
Do you use a router/modem .... make model please ?

I am using the latest version & patch.  I am running Windows XP Home, windows firewall (set to allow Winmx) I have a broadband modem EQ-660R ADSL Router.  Everything worked fine until I did a total factory restore.  I reinstalled Winmx and everything works except actually downloading.  The searches come up with results, It will place me in queue, but as soon as it begins to connect...it disconnects.  Not sure what else to change.

Your modem needs to be configured to allow ports through it.

Before you follow that guide it is suggested you set up a static ip.
