To fix MXBot, install it, then replace the nushi (mxchat.exe) with the fixed version

go to www.winmxgroup.com download install2.0 & run the installer at the end of that it's highly likely you'll be connected

well if we had the winmx domain there would be no need for patches.

Well this may come as a suprise to you but the DLL patch does more that just allow connections, it also keeps the primaries protected against being used to flood the network, now I happen to know you know all this so whats the real reason ?

When I upgraded to WinMX 3.54beta 4, I tried to upgrade my Bendmx too but it has never worked.  I have installed, uninstalled, re started my PC several times , checked in was in the correct folder (& it was) to no avail.  Other users in my regular room seem to have it working with no problems & they have the same OS as me.
WinXP Home SP2. I also have the latest pie patch

 I need some help with my bendmx..I am using it with Winmx 3.54 beta 4.....recently it stopped working when i tried to install ADD-ON SOUNDS,,,,so I removed it from my p.c. and re-installed it.. but it still does not work. I cannot here the sounds in the chat rooms...not my chat or any other chat. I have tried to re-load,,,and de-mute,
But nothing,,,,I hear nothing at all. What do you sugest I try.

You do have to bear in mind with BendMX that it's alpha software (early test version) & has quite a few bugs, it's really cool, for those for whom it works, but sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it will work in one room & not another (it seems to dislike WCS rooms in particular), you could try using it with winmx 3.53, it seems to like that slightly better, & sometimes it requires a reboot of your whole pc after installing with the 3.0 patch (it shouldn't, but that fixed it on one of my systems). aside from that, have you considered using robomx to chat & winmx to share files?
