Ok I recently hooked up a router and now I cant get winmx to connect. What should I do? :(

AbStRaKt DeVoTiOn welcome to the forum..

What are you using as a patch to connect to WinMX, and have you allowed the ports in your new router?

Let me know what brand of router you have and what patch your using.  The Install 1.9 Fix for WinMX is the latest one and would be best.

I got it fixed last night, I didnt have the UDP and TCP ports open for winmx. Thanx for the help though.

having problems connecting because off linksys router, any ideas??? How do i open the ports??

Reap have a look at this page, follow the instructions on there.. then it will direct you to the portforward site to open those ports up..
