If Winmx is using too much of your CPU (and causing your computer to runn a little slower than you would like), you can reduce this by changing one of the settings.
Settings, Winmx Peer Network, Search Thread Duty Cycle:
The lower the percentage, the less of the CPU that Winmx will use.
To see how much of your CPU Winmx uses:
Ctrl-Alt-Del
Go to the Performance tab
Find the entry for Winmx
The number in the CPU column tells you what percent
of the CPU Winmx uses.
