Vevo started off with a bang, further confirming what we already knew — that people really like watching music videos online. So much so, in fact, that the online music video site launched on Dec. 8 still managed to beat out existing sites like MySpace Music, AOL Music, Warner Music and MTV Networks Music, while clocking more than 35 million viewers for the month.
newteeveeI don't know why the Labels have a problem with fans uploading music videos to sites like youtube instead of issuing DMCA orders to take the music videos offline. Music videos are suppose to be a promotional tool to get fans to buy the artists music. It's good to see they're putting an effort into allowing people to upload and making agreements with video sites to allow their precious music videos to be viewed online.
